AURANGABAD ROUND UP

The First edition of India SME Knowledge Interchange Forum an initiative of India Sme Forum took place on 6th August 2013 at The Taj Residency Hotel, Aurangabad in the presence of 125+ SMEs from various clusters of Aurangabad.
The inaugural ceremony started with lamp lighting by Mr. Brijendra Kumar ,DGM State bank of India Mr. T. R. Sharma, Deputy Director, MSME-DI, Mr Sunil Bhosle President MASSIA, Shantanu Deshpande, Specialty Polyfilms Pvt Ltd. Shri Vinod Kumar, Country Head SDRC & Honorary VP, ISF (Moderator) Ms. Sushma Morthania, The Director General of India SME Forum.
The first session about Debt Funding had illustrious speakers namely, Mr Brijendra Kumar, SBI-DGM, Aurangabad , Mr T. R. Sharma, Deputy Director, MSME-DI, Mr Nilesh Dadpe-Zonall Manager West, SME Rating Agency, Mr Shantanu Deshpande, CEO, Specialty Polyfilms Pvt Ltd. Mr Vinod Kumar, Country Head SDRC & Honorary VP, ISF (Moderator)
The session was marked with warm notes and exchanges of New initiatives and Incentives of Central and State Government , private sector lending and collateral free borrowing from PSU banks and Credit Ratings detailing the importance of financial strength and ability to meet parameters for raising finance through various channels of Banking and financial aids to SMEs.
The Q&A was as an interesting session that highlighted the issues pertaining to the need and importance for business Ratings to indicate the relative position of a credit within the rating category. Also there were forethought on The criteria's for borrowing and methodologies to minimize economic risk factors and the impact on borrowings with respect to financial security & financial strength , operating performance and business profile relevant for strong capacity to meet problems like approvals, credibility standing The conclusion was aimed to provide insights and understanding on financial framework to eliminate revenue and fiscal deficit & stabilize debt
The next session elaborated on Equity Funding by Mr Ajay Thakur-SME Business Head, BSE Limited Mr Mahavir Lunawat-MD & CEO, Saarthi Capital Advisors (P) Ltd,Mr Santosh K. Chaudhri Ex-President, MASSIA, Mr Sridhar H. Navghare ,Owner, A S R Industries, Mr Ashish Mantri , Owner- Abhay Cotex Pvt Ltd, Mr Rishikesh Joshi principal correspondent , Business Standard pune
The session embarked with discussions on the fundamental mechanics of investment and borrowing with respect to Raising Seed Capital, Angel Capital, Private Capital, Venture capital wherein the main highlights of discussion lead to the core understanding on how one can reap major rewards if the company becomes a growth enterprise with least overheads , and how to make Banks and venture capital investors view capital borrowing a non risk preposition and how they can hand hold the Sme's as being partners in investment by the promoters of a new ventures
The Q&A was as an interesting session which presented a meaningful and tangible assessment on how to make the business successful and sustainable.It also came from the SME's Frequently, Banks &capital providers should provide timely advice and support and relevant backing for growth ,and that the Banking institutions should be more lenient and empathetic towards them than just commercial lenders.
Select participants were gifted with Sme Merchandise for best interactive Sme as a token of appreciation The Forum was well attended with over 125 participants from Automobile, Manufacturing, services , small exporters F&B, Refined petroleum products,chemicals, Rubber&plastic industry, Nonmetallic mineral products Machinery & equipments, ITES and SMEs from other sectors.
