Government College of Engineering and Technology (GCET), Jammu was established in the year 1994 under All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and is affiliated to University of Jammu. GCET Campus is spread over 870 Kanals of land at Chak Bhalwal, Jammu which is 22 kms away from Jammu city. The Institute was established with a vision to provide valuable resources for industry and society through excellence in technical education and research. The Institute offers Engineering UG Degree Courses in Electronics & Communication, Electrical, Computer, Mechanical and Civil Engineering. The Engineering Departments are actively involved in offering Consultancy Services to various Government/Semi Government Agencies.
