Department of Agriculture, Govt Of India has started an All India *Agri Transport Call Centre* for coordination between States for inter state movement of perishables - Vegetables & Fruits, Agri Inputs like seeds, pesticides and fertilizer etc.

Truck drivers, Traders, Retailers, Transporters or any other stakeholders who are facing problems in inter-state movement of above commodities, may seek help by calling at these numbers. Call Center Executives will forward the vehicle & consignment details along-with the help needed, to State Govt. officials for resolution of issues.

“1917iTEAMS”: The “1917iTEAMS” is an initiative of the Government of Meghalaya that is
working in the current crisis situation by procuring farm produces from the farmers and making
it available to different parts of the State. “1917iTEAMS” is functional for the last two years in
the State, of which today they received the highest number of 717 calls on its toll free number
1917. The calls were with regards to procurement of commodities and purchase by vendors.
