India SME Forum has initiated a nationwide consultative process to listen, collate and aggregate recommendations and suggestions from MSMEs on "THE NATIONAL BUDGET 2022” which will be presented on 1st Feb 2022 by the Hon’ble Finance Minister.

Six Regional Round Tables are being organised, featuring panelists including State Industry and MSME Lawmakers, Experts, Officers, leading entrepreneurs, startups, specific interest entrepreneur groups, including Women, Indian Manufacturers of High Import Lines, Exporters, Rural Enterprises, Social Enterprises, E-commerce operators & Enterprises as well as Retail and Trade Enterprises.
The States of focus are
Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Haryana, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra & Karnataka

Post Completion of Regional Round Tables in 6 Focus States, Two National Round Tables featuring panelists including Lawmakers, Experts, Officers from Ministries, Tax Institutions, Banks, leading entrepreneurs, startups, specific interest entrepreneur groups, including Women, Indian Manufacturers of High Import Lines, Exporters, Rural Enterprises, Social Enterprises, E-commerce operators & Enterprises as well as Retail and Trade Enterprises, are being held on.
1. National MSME Ecosystem, covering EODB for MSME, central and state laws governing doing business, developing entrepreneurship and Industrial Development.
2. National Compliances & Taxation Frameworks covering Compliances, Taxation, GST, Taxation

The Report and Recommendations will be submitted to the relevant Ministries of the Government and other Institutions in the 2nd week of January to enable consideration for inclusion in the budget being presented on 1st Feb 2022.
