SUMMARY OF PROCEEDINGS:BHOPAL
To become a successful entrepreneur, the SMEs must focus on strengthening their business and financial health. They must have sound financial position to get loans from the banks. These were the tips given to the entrepreneurs during “Business Leadership Series”- a program arranged by India SME forum on 11th November 2014 at Noor Us Sabah Palace, Bhopal. The program was supported by Reliance Commercial Finance, eBay India, MSME Ministry, BSE SME, SDRC India, and Mahindra & Mahindra. Over 55 local SMEs attended the program and the industry experts shared success mantras with them.
The workshop stated with lamp lighting ceremony by Ms. Sushma Morthania, Director General, India SME Forum, Mr.Vinod Kumar,Managing Partner-India & Middle East, SDRC India Advisors LLP; Mr.Chinmay Dhoble, Head-Loans Against Property; Mr.Anirban Chatterji, Founder & CEO, Anircorp. Ms. Sushma Morthania, Director General, India SME Forum, presented the brief in introduction about the workshop highlights and the aims of the workshop.
The one-day knowledge sharing program addressed critical issues of entrepreneurship in Finance, Marketing, and Branding. The program is divided into two modules- GROWING MONEY ON TREES: FINANCE FOR SUSTAINABLE GROWTH and 'MORE FOR LESS' - CUSTOMERS, MARKETS, BRANDS & MEDIA. The educational program had interactions with the mentors to clarify their queries on one to one basis with the mentor.

The participants also interacted among themselves to analyze real life business situations and arrive at a compelling conclusion which helped them to be in the right path ahead for every given business stage. The session concluded by inspiring the SMEs and encouraging them for better business customs.
