It has been the ardent endeavour of the India SME Forum, to support and complement efforts of the government for creating a superlative Entrepreneurial Ecosystem in India and we are highly encouraged by the support & inclination of our 75000+ member entrepreneurs, in together forming, India's Largest Movement for Small and Medium Business.
As part of our mission to motivate aspiring and assist existing Entrepreneurs, a day long programme was organised on the 24th of June titled “BUSINESS CLASS 2016”, and was held at the Rangsharda Auditorium in Bandra West, Mumbai, 10 am onwards.
The program comprises of Sectoral Panel Discussion Sessions of 45-60 minutes each, with top bureaucrats, experts and successful entrepreneurs as panelists.
The program aims to bring the best of law makers, investors, business experts, successful entrepreneurs and top bureaucrats, face to face with a full house of select aspiring entrepreneurs & start-ups. The program not only discusses steps to start & build successful brands & enterprises, but also best practices for managing and growing a successful business and sectoral business opportunities in India & worldwide.
While we are expecting the programme to serve as platform for select start-ups & aspiring entrepreneurs to listen to the experiences, as well as engage & network with successful entrepreneurs behind select successful enterprises, honoured as India's Small Giants over the past 3 years.
“India’s Small Giants” (ISG) are India's Most Successful Entrepreneurs, who have created a successful business enterprise with dedication and sheer hard work. More often than not, starting with very little capital investment and creating businesses with turnovers in multiples of hundreds of Crores, the powerful stories and enduring entrepreneurial spirit of these entrepreneurs, is sure to leave an ever-lasting impression on the minds of future generations of Indian youth.
As the title connotes, these are India’s small companies who define success by not only their bottom line, but by their contribution to their community, dedication to great customer service and the creation and preservation of the workplace as centers of excellence. An important part of the India Small Giants philosophy, also empowers and motivates every ISG entrepreneur, to mentor a few select start-ups to help strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem in India.
The program as well as the business journey of the India's Small Giants was packaged and showcased as a 12 Episode TV series titled "India's Small Giants" on NDTV Prime, starting mid July every Saturday with a repeat on Sundays. The TV series, serves as an ode to the undying spirit of Indian entrepreneurs who have started out as small businesses and have over time, garnered a sizeable market share, immense goodwill and sizeable brand awareness for their business while enabling and empowering those around them.
A Coffee Table Book featuring the stories of these successful entrepreneurs was also be unveiled during the Ceremony and a copy of it was also made digitally available on the web.
